19 Jul Katie Price shares hospital video of son Harvey and says he feels ‘a lot better’ | Ents & Arts News
Katie Price’s son has thanked fans for their well-wishes and said he feels “better” after he was admitted to intensive care.
Harvey, 18, suffers from partial blindness, Prader-Willi syndrome, autism, and learning and behavioural difficulties, as a result of a rare genetic disorder.
Price, 42, posted a video of her cuddling her son on Instagram, captioned: “Hey Harvey in his own words.”
In it, the model and TV star says he is feeling “a lot better” and asks him: “Harv, what do you want to say to all them people who have given you lovely messages? Do you want to say thank you to everyone?”
Harvey responds: “Thank you everyone.”
She asks him: “And how do you feel now?” He replies: “Better.”
Price said she would not be able to stay with Harvey on Saturday night but would return to visit him on Sunday.
Among those commenting online was Harvey’s half-brother Junior, 15, who wrote: “Doin so well big bro.”
Price’s ex-husband Kieran Hayler added: “Happy he is on the mend. Strong boy.”
Thank you again for your messages, they mean a lot to me. I’ve left the hospital for the evening and can confirm Harvey is still in intensive care and medical condition remains complex. I love him so much, he is so brave and a fighter ❤️❤️❤️🐸🐸 pic.twitter.com/fth2q2YSgK

The update comes just days after she thanked fans for their messages of support on Twitter, saying “they mean a lot to me”.
She also said Harvey was being “so brave” while in hospital and described him as “a fighter”.
Price confirmed on 12 July he had been admitted to intensive care and thanked the ambulance services and the hospital staff for the quick response and making him stable.
She later said it was “hard as due to limited visiting hours and COVID I can’t be by his bedside”.
Earlier this month, Price gave evidence to the Petitions Committee as part of its parliamentary inquiry into online abuse.
She detailed the abuse directed online at Harvey, and told of the emotional toll it had taken on her too.
